The Welham Weston Trophy

The Welham Weston Trophy is played between representitive teams from the four BB&O leagues. The league runners-up will represent the TVJGL in 2026 and will host the competition.

Venue:

The agreed leagues responsible and selected venues until 2029 are as the table below: -


2026	Thames Valley
2027	Oxfordshire
2028	Vale
2029	Chiltern

Format:

The competition is over 18 holes of Stableford with 95% handicap allowance. There will be 6 players from each league. The five best scores from each team to count with the sixth score counting in the event of a tie

Match Date and Start Time:

The match date and starting time is determined by the host league.

Players:

WIll be selected from the club(s) who were league runners-up the previous season

Catering:

A meal is provided after the match for all players and helpers.

Prizes:

Winning Team – Trophy plus individual trophies for team members sponsored by the BB&O.
